San Pedro Belize
San Pedro Belize is a town on the southern part of the island of Ambergris Caye located off the cost of Belize. The once sleepy fishing village was granted the status of a town on November 27th, 1984. San Pedro sits on the largest Island north of Belize paralleling The Barrier Reef. The island is long and narrow, measuring 25 miles long and 5 miles across at its widest point, although much of it is less than half a mile across.

San Pedro Town is approximately a mile long and measures only a few street blocks. It is the heart of Ambergris Caye and also known as Belize’s Tropical Paradise. As a matter of fact, San Pedro Belize has grown so big and popular that everyone would refer to Ambergris Caye as San Pedro.
